Gavazzi Hybrid Relay, 20 amps, 20-230 volts, 24-275 vac input, Single Pole Carlo Gavazzi Hybrid High Frequncy Relay RMD1H23A20 is a 17.5mm 1 pole 20 amp MERCURY FREE HYBRID RELAY that is DIN rail mountable and a 24-275 VAC and 24-190 vdc signal input. Operational or switching voltage is 20-230 AC. The Gavazzi RMD houses semiconductor thyristors and mechanical contacts that compliment each other. On applying the control voltage, thyristors are activated. After a short delay, an electromechanical relay is activated. This switching method protects the contacts of the electromechanical relay and reduces heating of the thyristors. The same principle applies during removal of the control input. The result is millions of trouble-free cycles in a compact and modular switching package. The nominal current ratings are at 25?C. There is a Green LED for ON indication.
